Project Introduction

Potash Industrial Complex is the largest potash mining plant in the Middle East with a mineral area of 2,000 square kilometers in Isfahan province, Khorobiabank city. This complex with an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of potassium chloride for use in chemical fertilizers and an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons of NaCl from brines of the central desert of Iran have been exploited.

ITCeN Co. in Potash Khorobiabank Complex as a process design consultant in cooperation with German companies K-UTEC and ERCOSPLAN Germany and client consultant in designing and supervising the implementation of projects for collection and transfer of brine, solar evaporation pools, carnallite extraction, establishing of potash processing, and production plant started in 2000 and in the following years, it continued in projects related to potash by-products, including the production of NaCl and the production of calcium chloride and magnesium hydroxide from the carnallite brine.

In addition to the above industrial project, ITCEN Co. has provided design and supervision services for the transmission lines and the 7.5 MW power plant, brines pumping station, and a number of other civil projects in the Khorobiabank area.

The subject of this project is consulting and engineering services for methods of collecting and transferring brine, salt, and carnallite extraction and the process of potassium chloride production unit.
