The salt washing unit is one of the key projects of Arvand Petrochemical Complex. The construction of this unit in the form of an EPC project was entrusted to a consortium consisting of an Iranian company (ITCEN) and two German companies (C.A.C and K-UTEC).
The purpose of creating this unit was to supply the required salt of the chlorine-alkali unit of the Arvand Petrochemical Complex. Washing and improving the quality of incoming salt with a capacity of two hundred tons per hour in this unit is done to transfer its output through the pipeline to Arvand Petrochemical Complex.
