Project Introduction
Due to the fact that a large part of the optimal performance of the "Mashhad urban train" organization depends on the proper performance of the assets and physical equipment of this organization, this complex is among the "equipment-oriented" organizations. Therefore, efficient and effective maintenance can play a key role in improving the performance of this equipment-oriented organization by reducing costs due to unforeseen breakdowns, reducing repair time, increasing safety, and increasing the economic life of equipment and parts. Thus, upgrading and maintaining the quality level of equipment maintenance and repairs is one of the most important requirements of this organization.
In this regard, Reliability-based Management (RCM), as one of the most advanced and up-to-date methods of compiling maintenance plans, will be very helpful for this aim. According to the above-mentioned cases, in 1995, defined a project entitled "Feasibility study of using RCM model in three cases of Mashhad urban train equipment" and ITCEN Co. was selected as the consultant to accomplish this important task.

- Carrying out three samples of maintenance analysis based on reliability for three sets of equipment.
