Mianah Steel Complex

Azerbaijan Steel Company is a steel production plant in East Azerbaijan Province, located in Mianeh County. The plant is located on a 46-hectare land area, 3 kilometers southeast of Mianeh City. Azerbaijan Steel is capable of producing and supplying 550,000 tons of various types of rebar, strips, gutters, and wires to the market annually. The plant has been operating since early 1380. The plant has built several units in response to the various needs and processes in the steel industry. These units include a casting unit where steel is poured into molten form and formed into desired molds, a rolling unit that is responsible for rolling steel blooms or pellets into final products, and a sponge iron unit that is responsible for producing steel raw materials.
