Petropolymer Shargh Company started its activity in 2005 with the aim of recycling various polymers. Over time, and with the importance of PET recycling from both economic and environmental perspectives in the north of the country, the main focus of this factory was on the physical recycling of PET bottles. After that, in order to produce new and high-value-added products, this factory turned to producing three-layer polyethylene terephthalate sheets and PET foams for food, medical, and pharmaceutical uses and received standard certificates related to its products.

Engineering, executive consulting services and equipment purchase including diesel generators, chillers and air conditioners, workshop supervision and high-level supervision on the implementation of recycling line infrastructure and facilities and ancillary equipment, Surma Hall and Facility Hall, as well as the supply of equipment and implementation of the number one PET production hall of the factory with an area of 2400 square meters and Petropolymer Shargh with an area of 10,000 square meters located in Mazandaran Province were carried out in 2015.
